

The world-class stage of the Sydney Opera House will play host to a night of future-tinged electronic magic, as Sydney touring/management group Astral People takes over for a night of landmark mayhem at 9pm on Saturday June 1st.

Californian singer-songwriter Hanni El Khatib has just released his sophomore album, Head In The Dirt, on Pod through Inertia. While on tour, he'd met Dan Auerbach (Black Keys) in a bar in Paris and after some whiskey got involved, they decided to partner up in Auerbach’s studio in Nashville. The idea was to erase everything he’d become comfortable with and to make an album out of only raw instinct and inspiration.

The highly anticipated sophomore album from the NYC band, Caveman has been released through Fat Possum/Shock. Caveman—a five-man vibe collective from NYC—released their first album in 2011. As first albums go, CoCo Beware was something akin to a moody statement of intent, a blueprint for a band quickly learning how to create horizon-wide rock songs that were equal parts intimate and expansive.
