When Rise Against were last in Australia, the Chicago rockers were opening stadium stages around the country for a little known band called the Foo Fighters and it's safe to say that if you were there, Rise Against more than made their impression. To my memory, it had been a decent few years since the band had been out this way but I remember the first time I'd been able to catch one of their shows back then as being one full of a quick-paced, chaotic blend of fun and hard rock that quickly drew their audience in. Coming back to how the band performed on this recent tour of Australian venues, the consensus seemed to ring out similarly - Rise Against were not to be messed with then and they've not let up now.
