PlatinumGames is releasing a TMNT game this year and it looks beautiful

PlatinumGames (Bayonetta, Transformers Devastation)  have revealed that they’re working on a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game called Mutants in Manhattan and thanks to the trailer they dropped, we can tell you that it looks wonderful.

First thing you’ll notice are those sweet cel shaded visuals. Granted, I’ve been a sucker since I first laid eyes on XIII all of those years ago but you can’t deny how pretty they are.

Bebop and Rocksteady join Shredder and the Foot Clan as your enemies and if I saw things correctly, our heroes in a half shell can team up to execute some kick ass combos.

It has been reported too that it will support 4-player online co-op and have a story penned by TMNT writer Tom Waltz.

Scheduled for later this year, Mutants in Manhattan will launch on X360, Xbox One, PS3 & PS4.

We’ll have more details as they are announced. For now, here is that trailer!
