Ben & Jerry’s turn 10 in Australia, launch Birthday Cake flavour to celebrate

Ben & Jerry’s have been in Australia for 10 very delicious years, and are celebrating the milestone the best way they know how: “Birthday Cake”.

Introducing a new Birthday Cake flavour today, the ubiquitous ice cream makers are opening us up to a celebratory profile of vanilla cake batter, heavenly pink frosting, strawberry swirls, and a generous helping of cake pieces. They’re even offering to personalise the pints of Birthday Cake ice cream for anyone wanting to mark their (or someone else’s) name on a pack.

Birthday Cake will be the first in a series of new flavours coming to Ben & Jerry’s for their milestone year, with the coming months set to feature a bunch of innovative scoops. Like always, you can pick them up via Uber Eats or head into one of the many B&J stores across the country.

To further celebrate its big day, Ben & Jerry’s is making it rain free ice cream all over Australia by hosting the country’s first ever ice cream scavenger hunt. Running from November 29th for a limited time, the brand is challenging its fans to hunt down over 10,000 prizes from a free sundae or scoop, to a year’s supply of ice cream through an Augmented Reality (AR) game.

To enter, participants should head to benjerryhunt.com on their phone’s mobile web browser or the Ben & Jerry’s social media pages and follow the steps. Keep an eye out for clues which will reveal the locations of the virtual prizes in all major cities. Once items have been found and scanned on a smartphone, prizes are redeemable instantly at all participating Ben & Jerry’s stores. Fans will even be able to swap, trade and collect with friends to ensure they get their favourite flavours.
