Adelaide’s Kaurna Cronin has recently been working his way through Europe performing music that has been falling well within the embrace of a fast-growing fanbase that has been rocking with him for some years now.
The acclaimed singer songwriter has been working on his sophomore album Southern Loss (scheduled for release in September), a highly anticipated follow up to 2015’s Glass Fool – an album that had Cronin on tour through Australia, Europe and the US.
With his latest European tour having wrapped up this week, the release of Cronin’s new single “Forgetting the Blue” is the next point of focus. Today, we share the song’s official music video – a look at recent life on the road for the musician and his band. Lyrically, the pangs of nostalgia and sentimentality hit hard, as the gorgeous pop-folk arrangement strikes well throughout.
Featuring some of Adelaide’s best on the track including Kiah Gossner, Delia Obst, Tom Kneebone and Tara McHenry, “Forgetting the Blue” is an excellent step ahead for Cronin and we’re excited to see where Southern Loss takes us next.
