Ghostface is going to burn it all down in first trailer for Scream 7

“I’m gonna burn it all down!”

And with that fiery threat, Scream‘s resilient serial killer, Ghostface, seems to make good on such if the explosive trailer for Scream 7 is anything to go by.

When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (a returning Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter, Tatum (Isabel May), becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.

Written by Scream V and VI scribe Guy Busick, directed by original trilogy writer Kevin Williamson, and bringing back longtime series survivor Courteney Cox, Mason Gooding and Jasmine Savoy Brown from the last two sequels, and, somehow, Matthew Lillard, David Arquette and Scott Foley – who have all fallen prey across the six films – Scream 7 promises to be a true family affair; which only makes sense if Sidney and her own clan are targeted.

Also starring Anna Camp, Mckenna Grace, Joel McHale, Mark Consuelos, Ethan Embry, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Michelle Randolph and Jimmy Tatro, this February just got a whole scarier when Scream 7 slices its way into Australian theatres on February 26th, 2026.
