THE GRISWOLDS

Music Video of the Day: The Griswolds "If You Wanna Stay" (2015)

The Griswolds are currently in the middle of yet another epic international touring campaign that has recently taken them to Europe and of course, back through the United States, where they're fast becoming a known and raved about name. The Sydneysiders have been away from home for a while now, supporting the likes of Walk the Moon and preparing for their own headline tour of the US, which is already selling out venues in many of the large venues set up on the tour bill. All off the back of 2014's Be Impressive record, one that's gone and done more than simply impress, it's taken on its own life and established longevity of its own overseas.

New Music Video: The Griswolds "Right On Track" (2015)

You may remember, a little while ago, The Griswolds and some of their friends hopped on board a boat and treated a select number of fans to a gig as they cruised the Sydney Harbour? The Jack Daniel's Future Legends supported event saw the band perform material from their praised debut album Be Impressive, release the set as a special EP download and also got some mates from Bluejuice, Deep Sea Arcade, Castlecomer and Jinja Safari up for a jam. Well, today The Griswolds have released the music video for their latest single "Right On Track", filmed at this particular shindig - it's a big up to the people who were there, as well as a bit of a love letter to what's become a notorious party vibe the band is known for generating.

The Griswolds, The Preatures and more join Morrissey and The Killers on the 2015 Firefly Festival bill!

The line up for the popular Firely Festival has been released, with a swag of our favourite artists set to fly out to Delaware this June to play alongside some of the world's best live bands. A mysterious third headliner is blanked out on the festival poster, with many already speculating that Paul McCartney will take the spot - with his many appearances lately, it wouldn't be totally surprising. For now, we know that Kings of Leon and The Killers lead the top row, with the likes of Morrissey, Bastille, Foster the People, Modest Mouse and Snoop Dogg following hot on their heels.

Win a double pass to see The Griswolds headline a boat party this Friday!

The Griswolds aren't known for half-assing things, especially their live shows, so when we found out that they're partnering up with Jack Daniel's and their 'Future Legends' series for one hell of a Sydney party, we weren't surprised. But then we found out this party required a small bunch of their friends to party down with them on a boat cruising along the Sydney Harbour, not to mention the list of some talented musos set to join them...well, in the words of Liz Lemon, we want to go to there.
