Will Ferrell’s Production Company to take on US version of No Activity

Will Ferrell’s production company Gary Sanchez to make a US version of the hit Stan Original Series No Activity in association with CBS Television and Jungle team, the latter having made the original series.

The eight part CBS series, will shoot in the final term of 2017 with Trent O’Donnell and Patrick Brammall of Jungle as Executive producers and show runners, with Jason Burrows and Joe Farrell also serving as executive producers.

This deal further expands Stan’s partnership with CBS, as the show will only air on Stan’s streaming service in Australia. Building on Stan’s increasing library of exclusives, it will stand alongside the original No Activity series, which has been dubbed “the Seinfeld of cop shows”.

Jungle have been involved in many projects, with Here Come the Habibs being one of the most original and highest rated Australian TV shows this year.
