Sydney Film Festival postponed until November 2021

In light of the Sydney lockdown extension announced by the NSW Government on 28 July, Sydney Film Festival will postpone the 68th edition of the Festival until 3rd-14th November, 2021.

“Sydney Film Festival looks forward to returning to cinemas for a COVID-safe event in November, when we’ll come together to celebrate the films we love, in person”, stated Festival director Nashen Moodley.

All tickets, Flexipasses and Subscriptions remain valid for the new Festival dates. If you would like to discuss your ticketing options with SFF’s box office, please email [email protected] and we will get in touch with you.

SFF remains committed to presenting a COVID-safe in-cinema Festival this year and will launch the full program and single ticket sales once lockdown has ended.

In 2021, be the first to see new festival favourites and award-winners, dramas, documentaries, thrillers, comedies, cross-genre experiments and art-house cinema from around the world.
