Tash Sultana and The Rubens to play free concerts at Apple Sydney this November

Tash Sultana

Tash Sultana and The Rubens are heading to Sydney for a series of free, intimate concerts this November, as Apple celebrates Aus Music Month with four special events at its flagship CBD store. Running every Thursday from 5 to 26 November, the program also features acclaimed producer Styalz Fuego and Sydney DJ Anna Lunoe, who will host conversations with the artists throughout the month.

The four-week program is part of Apple’s celebration of Australian music, giving fans a rare opportunity to get up close with established artists in a much more intimate setting than they’re accustomed to. All events are free, although attendees will need to register through Apple’s website.

Lunoe will kick things off on Thursday 5th November, with a special edition of her influential Apple Music radio show HYPERHOUSE. Expect a live DJ set followed by a conversation with emerging artist DEVAURA, exploring the evolution of the show and what goes into putting together a great mix.

The following Thursday, 12th November, Tash Sultana will take over Apple Sydney for what promises to be one of the month’s most popular sessions. The Melbourne multi-instrumentalist has built an international following through their remarkable live looping performances, transforming a single performer into what sounds like an entire band. Sultana will perform live before joining Lunoe to discuss their creative process and what’s coming next.

On Thursday 19th November, the spotlight shifts behind the mixing desk as award-winning producer Styalz Fuego breaks down the art of making a hit record. Born Kaelyn Behr, the Australian producer has worked across hip-hop and pop, including major international collaborations. His session with Lunoe will explore the stories behind some of those productions and his curated Apple Music playlist, The Producers.

Rounding out the month on Thursday 26th November are The Rubens, who’ve spent more than a decade establishing themselves as one of Australia’s most dependable festival acts. Fresh from releasing their latest album, Group Therapy, the band will perform live and discuss their journey so far, including how their collaborative songwriting process has evolved.

Each event runs from 6pm to 7pm at Apple Sydney, offering a welcome alternative to the usual big-ticket concerts dominating the city’s live music calendar.

For music fans, it’s a chance to experience some of Australia’s most recognisable artists in an unusually intimate environment, without spending a cent. And we know how much ya’ll love free live music, especially in this economy. Throw in some big names, a central location, and an intimate space and you’ve got a fantastic few events to add to your stacked Aus Music Month schedule.

Apple’s Aus Music Month events run every Thursday from 5 to 26 November 2026. Registration and further information are available via Apple’s official event page.
