Get your first taste of Amy Poehler’s new Hulu series Difficult People

Amy Poehler is a busy woman at the moment. Though Park and Rec is now behind her (*sob*), she’s dominating the cinema with her lead role in Disney Pixar’s new film Inside Out, she’s the executive producer of one of the most talked about series right now Broad City – and now she’s bringing us a brand new series exclusively for US streaming platform Hulu.

The tagline for the show pretty much gives you an idea of what you’re in for: “Life is what happens when you’re busy complaining about other plans.” And now we have a short teaser trailer for the show, which features the leads – Billy Eichner and Julie Klausner – being inappropriate at a funeral. Not in a “let’s take our pants off and offend people” sort of way. More a “we don’t care about anyone but ourselves” sort of way. Yes, they are the difficult people the title mentions. Those may remember Billy Eichner as the hilarious Craig Middlebrooks in the later seasons of Parks and Recreation.

Difficult People arrives on August 5th on Hulu – though Hulu isn’t technically available in Australia, those more technical among us know there are ways around that. Still, keep an eye out for the official Australian release details.
