Everything you need to know about Netflix’s new series Gypsy starring Naomi Watts

Netflix & Universal Television have released the first teaser and details for Gypsy, a ten-part psychological thriller starring Naomi Watts.

The series follows Jean Halloway (Watts), a Manhattan therapist with an ostensibly picturesque life who begins to develop intimate and illicit relationships with the people in her patients’ lives. As the borders of Jean’s professional life and personal fantasies become blurred, she descends into a world where the forces of desire and reality are disastrously at odds.

In addition to Watts, Gypsy also stars Billy Crudup (Spotlight) as Sophie Cookson (Kingsman), Lucy Boynton (Murder on the Orient Express) and Karl Glusman (Nocturnal Animals).

The show was written by newcomer Lisa Rubin and directed by Sam Taylor Johnson (Fifty Shades Of Grey) as well as Victoria Mahoney and Coky Giedroyc.

Check out the quick teaser below.

Gypsy is expected to release later this year.
