Drag Race Down Under Vs The World announces the stars battling it out for international drag supremacy

The world is officially coming Down Under.

For the first time in Drag Race herstory, queens from across the global Drag Race universe are heading to Australia and New Zealand to battle some of the franchise’s most beloved Down Under alumni in the all-new Stan Original series Drag Race Down Under vs The World, premiering July 24th exclusively on Stan.

With global icon Michelle Visage stepping into the hosting role, joined on the judging panel by comedian Rhys Nicholson and reigning Down Under champion Lazy Susan, the competition promises to be fiercer, shadier and more unpredictable than ever.

Representing the home team are five returning Down Under queens ready for redemption, revenge, and a second shot at the crown: Art Simone, Coco Jumbo, Flor, Nikita Iman and Vybe. Standing in their way are six international fan favourites from across the Drag Race multiverse, including US legends Raven, LaLa Ri and Nicole Paige Brooks, UK finalist Michael Marouli, Spain’s Estrella Xtravaganza, and Philippine powerhouse M1ss Jade So.

This isn’t business as usual. Borrowing the now-iconic Vs The World format, the top two queens each week will hold the power to eliminate one of the bottom performers. After a final lipsync showdown, the winning queen will reveal whose lipstick they’ve chosen, sending a competitor packing and potentially changing the course of the competition in a single dramatic moment.

The cast itself is stacked with Drag Race royalty. Raven returns to competition for the first time in years after becoming RuPaul‘s Emmy Award-winning makeup artist. LaLa Ri comes out of drag retirement for one more run at the crown. Nicole Paige Brooks proves that legends never go out of style. Meanwhile, M1ss Jade So brings her trademark “doll domination” energy, Michael Marouli arrives armed with her sharp Northern wit, and Estrella Xtravaganza continues her mission to charm audiences worldwide.

For the Down Under contingent, the stakes feel especially personal. Art Simone finally gets another chance to complete the journey that began with one of Drag Race’s most infamous eliminations and returns. Flor returns after narrowly missing out on a crown in season three. Nikita Iman, Vybe and Coco Jumbo all have unfinished business of their own, with each hoping to prove they can stand alongside the very best the global franchise has to offer.

The question now is simple: when the glitter settles, will the crown stay Down Under, or will the world take it home?
