Comedycentral.com.au has launched the brand new mini-series Trendy from Australian sketch group, Aunty Donna, which will screen every Friday.
Exclusive to Comedy Central Australia, the series features actors and writers, Mark Samual Bonanno, Broden Kelly and Zachary Ruane taking off what’s Trendy in today’s hipster society via surreal, fast paced, super ridiculous sketches.
Trendy is Comedy Central’s first ever Aussie mini-series and is made up of five episodes titled Cocktail, Pitch Perfect,Chef Matthias, Eat Mark’s Face and Haven’t You Done Well 6.
The series is available worldwide on comedycentral.com.au and Fetch TV’s Comedy Central, channel 108.

Aunty Donna exploded onto the Melbourne comedy scene in 2012 with their unique brand of live absurdist sketches. They followed on to create an award winning YouTube channel, garnering over 100,000 subscribers and 13 million views, demonstrating their clear cult following with their fans demanding for more.
Comedy Central Australia is now looking to commission more home grown series such as Trendy.
