As part of a mid-week lunch program The Dolphin , one of 2016’s best openings, will now be doing up some fancy looking premium sandwiches with quality local ingredients sourced by Maurice Terzini and Monty Koludrovic.
Some of the finest names in local produce have come together to help take this a whole new level, whether that be LP’s Meats providing some of their smoked proteins, Brickfields Bakery supplying their finest flours, or Victor Churchill handling the premium Deli products. The collaboration between local businesses to bring this “Proper Sandwiches” menu to life should already let you know to expect nothing but the best.
The menu will be a daily rotation of five sandwiches hand-picked from an extensive menu of 16 “classics with a twist”. Even the good ol’ egg sandwich (with egg salad, kewpie and chive sprouts) is getting a makeover, while other selections include The Italian Job (LP’s mortadella, salami, asiago cheese, rocket, aioli), Trout Pout (smoked trout, gribiches sauce, red onion), and Pastrami Rye (butter, peppered salt beef, dill pickles, pickled cabbage and mustards).
The menu will debut on Monday 13th March where it will be available each day (Mon-Fri) through the week from 12pm-3pm (or until sold out) for eat-in and takeaway. Sandwiches will be priced at $12 each.
