Radisson to debut in Mumbai with 112-room property planned for 2019

Come 2019 renowned hotel brand Radisson will make its debut in Mumbai, Maharashtra with the 112-room Radisson Mumbai Andheri MIDC. Set to accelerate Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group’s overall growth and expansion plans in the country, the new hotel will be developed in partnership with GHV Hospitality India Private Limited in one of the most prominent industrial zones of the city, 2.5km from the Mumbai International Airport.

The hotel’s location will be one of its central drawcards, in the heart of the MIDC development which is steadily growing to feature various major residential and infrastructural developments, commercial buildings, retail and health care facilities.

“We are delighted to sign the management agreement for Radisson Mumbai Andheri MIDC which is significant to us in many ways”, said Raj Rana, CEO, South Asia, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. “Radisson is a firmly established global brand with over 200 hotels in operation and development throughout the world. The brand inspires services standards of the highest levels and is very well positioned to serve the bustling market of Mumbai”.

More details in the hotel should be revealed in the lead up to its opening, but for now we know that the hotel constitutes pre-function and function space of approximately 500 square meters, a fitness centre and a swimming pool.
