Polka-dot duo Angine de Poitrine announce debut Australian tour March 2027

Canadian experimental duo Angine de Poitrine are heading to Australia for the first time in March 2027, bringing their bizarre, hypnotic and utterly unpredictable brand of psychedelic rock to Melbourne and Sydney.

Comprised of the mysterious Klek and Khn de Poitrine, the duo have become an international talking point with their polka-dot costumes, elongated papier-mâché masks and a sound that twists conventional rock music into something entirely their own.

Blending microtonal guitar, looping melodies, intricate math-rock rhythms and pounding drums, Angine de Poitrine create a mesmerising wall of sound that moves between tightly wound grooves and dizzying psychedelic explorations. The duo’s growing international following has been accompanied by considerable critical recognition. In September, they took home both the 2026 Polaris Album Prize for their second album, Vol. II, and the SOCAN Polaris Song Prize for “Fabienk”, becoming the first act to claim both honours in the same year.
