‘Unfudge Our Future”: Ben and Jerry’s newest flavour tackles fossil fuels

Not every dessert signals to the Australian Government an urgent message about climate change. Ben and Jerry’s latest one does just that.

Dubbed “Unfudge Our Future”, the pint was created with PM Scott Morrison, Treasurer Josh Frydenberg and Energy Minister Angus Taylor in mind, sending a pointed message that the dessert-loving public want fossil fuels gone, and for the Government to invest in a fast and fair transition to 100% renewables.

Unfudge Our Future has been made available in limited-edition batches: a completely non-dairy ice cream made with almond milk and defined by the distinctive blend of chocolate brownie fudge chunks and peanut butter cookie dough.

The newly released ice cream is part of Ben and Jerry’s campaign, which has seen the ice cream makers team with 350.org Australia and the Climate Council for further the message to the Government. This includes a new section on the Ben and Jerry’s website which encourages ice cream lovers to get involved and send their own message to the Government.

Every punnet sold of Unfudge Our Future will mean Ben and Jerry’s donating parting of the proceeds to 350.org Australia. More information here.
