The Preatures, Holy Holy & more announced for Festival of the Sun 2017

Festival of the Sun returns to Port Macquarie this December, looking to sell out quickly too, if previous years’ ticket sales are anything to go by! Long regarded as one of the east coast’s most popular festival events, Festival of the Sun hasn’t changed its blueprint one iota.

Still completely BYO, FOTSUN has retained its family friendly vibes; children under 12 years old can attend for free when accompanied by an adult and for those not planning on staying on site, the festival is offering free shuttle bus services for those living within 10km of the grounds.

BUT! For those who are planning on camping at FOTSUN from December 7th – 9th, Tent City has got you covered; the VIP camping area puts you close to the festival itself, while FOTSUN have pulled together a range of ticket packages to suit your budget – you have no excuse, now. Book your weekend off.

Leading the artist announcement for Festival of the Sun this year are some of the country’s best-loved acts including The PreaturesBall Park MusicHorrorshow and Holy Holy. Joining on with Meg MacAli BarterThe Bennies and Kim Churchill, the Festival of the Sun line up has been curated with good vibes in mind, right throughout its duration.

Returning in 2017 is the festival’s Comedy program – rock up on the Thursday night to get around it, while local artist Sigh Luxton flexes his street art muscle and food trucks set up to feed you well into the night.

The theme of Festival of the Sun this year is marked as its ‘Outer Space Edition’ – if you feel like co-ordinating your outfits to suit, then by all means…
