Festival Photo Gallery: Byron Bay Bluesfest (Day Two) – Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm (15.04.22)

The crowd was massive for Day two of Byron Bay Bluesfest. The major drawcard of course was Midnight Oil, who are on their swansong live tour. They didn’t disappoint, playing a two hour set filled with their classic hits, and a few new ones from their latest album, Resist. Peter Garrett‘s voice was better than ever, and the musical wizardry of Jim Moginie and Martin Rotsey, with the energy of Rob Hirst is always next level.

The rain has mostly held off, though it is a little soggy underfoot. Don’t do what I’ve done and wear canvas shoes. Earlier in the day, The Church proved popular, and then Senator Briggs brought his wisdom to the crowd, and got the tent jumping.

Stan Walker brought his energy to a younger crowd. And what a voice.

Speaking of high energy, The Living End lifted the roof at The Crossroads. Again, it was an action-packed setlist.
