Exclusive Single Premiere: The Veils “Total Depravity (Acoustic Session at Roundhead)” (2017)

In The Veils‘ new album Total Depravity, we received the first lot of new material from the UK based group since 2013’s Time Stays, We Go. The beautiful and haunting nature of their music hadn’t been lost during time gone by either, as we now hear on this exclusive acoustic cut of the title track.

Recorded at the Roundhead Studios in New Zealand, this version of “Total Depravity” features on the forthcoming new EP from the band that has seen them strip down a selection of tunes including “House of Spirits” and “Swimming with the Crocodiles” too – released tomorrow (April 14th), this one is a must have.

Of the track below, you can really lose yourself in the arresting nature of Finn Andrews‘ vocals, while the simple piano-driven arrangement highlights the nuances and fragility of “Total Depravity” in a new light.
