Exclusive Single Premiere: Moody “Say It Like You Own It” (2016)

Sydney multi-instrumentalist Moody has been toiling away on some fresh solo music,  a definitive step out from under the shadow of his successful hip-hop trio, True Vibenation. The first result of Moody’s solo venture is in new single, “Say It Like You Own It” – a great fusion of hip-hop beats, electro production and traditional African percussion. What’s struck us with each True Vibenation release in the past is this ever present, predominant organic and natural passion behind the music’s creation and this track is no different.

There’s soul to this release, something fans of Moody’s will already be well familiar with, but for any newcomers, this is a perfect introduction. We’re so happy to be premiering “Say It Like You Own It” on the AU today – get around it and if you’re in Sydney, be sure to catch Moody launching the new tune at Play Bar in Surry Hills on February 27th.
