Exclusive Single Premiere: Lucy Eaton “Rotten Love” (2020)

Lucy Eaton was born in Australia, but currently resides in California, and we have the exclusive premiere of her debut release “Rotten Love”, a fun whimsical take on trying to win over someones affection.

Eaton has a gift for writing lines which reference the everyday and resonate with the listener.  She is armed with her ukelele and a honey golden voice to make her words shine brightly. “Rotten Love” details the various gifts she would give to the person she is crushing on, in order to win their affection. It’s a fun take on the pursuit of love.

If you like a folk singer with a ukelele, a sweet voice and the ability to tell a vivid tale then you are going to love Lucy Eaton.

Eaton is 21 and has been studying at UC Berkeley. Whilst there she became vice-president of the student music organisation Songwriting at Berkeley. It was here that she found her feet songwriting, playing at open-mic nights, and developing her skills with the other members of the society.

“Rotten Love” was recorded by Marcus Lee, who is a founding member of Songwriting at Berkeley.
