“Don’t Make It Easy” is the second track from the Tamworth singer, who once dreamed of becoming an Olympic equestrian before an accident in her late teens set her on a different path.
Blending country and pop together, Penrose’s sound took her all the way to the grand finale of the 2019 Toyota Star Maker, a highlight of the Tamworth Country Music Festival – one that’s helped launch the careers of the likes of Keith Urban, Beccy Cole, and Kylie Sackley.
