Exclusive Music Video Premiere: Shag Rock “Sunbleached Girl” (2016)

Brisbane indie outfit Shag Rock have come through with a striking, fun new music clip for their single “Sunbleached Girl”. As a taste of their upcoming debut album, the tune is soaked in groove and energy; a number primed to flourish into a live favourite for sure.

Edited by Thomas O’Dowd, the music video follows the lads through the suburban streets into a backyard party – a perfect scene for many of us this summer, no doubt.

“We’ve all probably met one,” Alex Wilson explains. “A sunbleached girl, bit of a dream girl, so the song was written to reach out one last time and connect people with those experiences of head over heels and heartbreak.”

Hit play and ease in to it; we’re likely to be hearing a fair bit more from Shag Rock as we enter 2017, we’re here for it.
