Exclusive Music Video Premiere: Amarina Waters “A Sense Of You” (2017)

Amarina Waters is a Melbourne-based songwriter, whose earnest voice delivers soulful indie folk. Her album debut is due later in 2017, and we are lucky enough to be giving you the first glimpse of her upcoming release, with the single and video “A Sense Of You”. The track faces the confusion and absurdity of living with the past in the present, and was recorded live at Four Hundred Acres with Rohan Sforcina.

The surreal emotions of heartbreak amble across this pastel hued, very Melbourne clip, which was filmed in Amarina‘s Northcote home and neighbourhood, shot by film maker Rosie Fea. Taking just one day and eight dollars to create (forking out for some ‘Fragile’ stickers), the clip is endearing, honest, accompanying the track’s  curious melodies and themes of redemption.

Catch Amarina play The Gasometer Upstairs on Friday March 24th, celebrating the release, joined by Matt Dixon (guitars), Luke Richardson (Bass), Emilee South and Al Parkinson (backing vocals).
