PAX Aus 2017 returns to Melbourne October 27-29

The PAX Australia gaming convention will return to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in 2017 running over the weekend of October 27-29.

Badges to the show will go on sale March 14 from the official PAX Australia website. Early Bird pricing will get punters $5 off the regular badge pricing with 3-Day passes running punters AUD$165. Single day passes for Friday, Saturday or Sunday will set you back AUD$65 and if you’re looking to get in on the LAN action, a Bring Your Own Computer pass will run you an extra AUD$45 on top of your regular badge. Look, five bucks off $170 isn’t that much, we know, but if you’re buying multiple badges for a group it’ll stack up a little.

This will be the popular convention’s fifth year in Australia, and its fourth to be held within Jeff’s Shed.

The official Penny Arcade YouTube channel just released a video this morning focusing on local devs Sneaky Bastards whose game Wildfire was a part of the PAX Rising indie pavilion at the 2016 show. You can check that out below.
