Melbourne: Celebrate the Rio Olympics at ACMI’s RETROLYMPIAD **Correction**

With the Rio Olympics right around the corner, the Australian Centre for the Moving Image in Melbourne is hosting a night of food, drink, live music and retro Olympic themed video games.

Hosted by comedians Tremblay Birchall and Andy Matthews and featuring a live set from the Juggernaut DJs, the evening will feature hands-on time with a host of retro sporting and Olympic titles from the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s including the venerable California Games and Caveman Games, Olympic Gold, and Konami’s Track & Field series.

The RETROLYMPIAD will play for one night only at ACMI on Saturday, July 24. Tickets are AU$22 for adults, AU$20 for concession and AU$18 for members. You can find out more about the event at ACMI.net.au.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this news piece stated that the Midnight Juggernauts would be playing a set at the event. We have since been advised that the Juggernaut DJs, members of the Midnight Juggernauts, will be playing on the night and have updated the piece to reflect this.
