Tonight’s Q&A is coming to you live and direct from Adelaide Festival of Arts

Tonight’s instalment of ABC’s Q&A will be a little different from normal. For a start, regular host Tony Jones has been given the week off. Taking on hosting responsibilities in his place will be comedian Tom Ballard.

This weeks Q&A will also be coming to you direct from the Adelaide Festival of the Arts. With the arts, activism and culture the topic of conversation. Unsurprisingly given the topic of conversation, it’s a very “arts” heavy panel this week.

Joining Ballard around the desk will be Canadian singer-songwriter Martha Wainwright, acclaimed children’s author Mem Fox, Indigenous actress and singer Ursula Yovich, media and arts executive Kim Williams and acclaimed theatre & film director and festival co-director Neil Armfield. Following the discussion Martha Wainwright will close out the show with a performance.

As always viewers are encouraged to submit questions online, contribute to the discussion on Twitter using the #qanda as well as submit questions for the panel via Twitter using the #qanda and @qanda

Q&A is simulcast live at 21:35 (AEDT) around the country on ABC TV, ABC News 24, ABC NewsRadio and iview.
