A teaser trailer for a long awaited sequel? Groundbreaking! The Devil Wears Prada 2 releases anticipated first look

“Took you long enough.”

A fitting wink to the two decades Prada fans have waited, Meryl Streep‘s Miranda Priestly relays the sentiment to Anne Hathaway‘s Andrea Sachs in the hotly anticipated teaser trailer for next year’s The Devil Wears Prada 2, a sequel to 2006’s award-winning The Devil Wears Prada.

Are Miranda and Andrea now equals? Are they professional rivals? Did Emily Blunt‘s snappy Emily meet her goal weight? Just who are Sydney Sweeney, Lady Gaga and Lucy Liu all playing? So many questions to be answered, and thankfully we don’t have too long to find out!

Returning alongside Streep, Hathaway and Blunt is Stanley Tucci, with an all-new runway of characters including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak and Conrad Ricamora. Directed by David Frankel, The Devil Wears Prada 2 fashionably arrives in Australian theatres on April 30th, 2026, before opening on May 1st in the United States.
