Comedy, action, horror and nostalgic pop culture have fused together for the experience that is Zombie Plane, a wild new Australian feature that has everyone from Sophie Monk and Chuck Norris, to Sir Bob Geldof and Vanilla Ice teaming up as they have to save themselves from a plane overrun by zombies.
Directed by Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Mier, Zombie Plane delivers an all-out spectacle with one of the wildest ensembles ever assembled on screen, including Kyle Sandilands, Amy Shark, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Brian Austin Green, Cody Simpson, John Jarratt, Matt Okine, Alex Fleri, Victoria Fleri, Dan Ewing, Teressa Liane and Ann Truong – all battling zombies at 30,000 feet when a flight from Sydney to Los Angeles becomes a sky-high slaughterhouse.
As described by Bodnaruk and Mier as a “love letter to the ’90s and the bold, bonkers pop-culture movies” that they grew up on. “It’s designed to be a big-screen, laugh-with-your-mates experience with outrageous action, irreverent comedy and a soundtrack that bangs harder than Vanilla Ice in a zombie fight. We want audiences to pile into a cinema, switch off the world and have a blast together,” Zombie Plane will be a flight like no other when it arrives in Australian theatres from November 13th, 2025.
