Ubisoft’s new Just Sing karaoke title is out now

Ubisoft has announced Just Sing, the musical successor to Just Dance,  has been officially released in Australia and New Zealand on the PlayStation 4 with an Xbox One released scheduled for later this year.

Karaoke addicts and Vine ‘stars’ will finally (and thankfully) have the ability to lip-sync and sing into their mobile phones within the comfort, and privacy, of their own home.  Away from the rest of us. As it should be.

To play, users will need to download the Just Sing companion app. This app will allow you and up to three friends to use your mobile phones as a microphone to perform songs from the included track list of more than 45 songs, which includes artists such as Justin Bieber and Sia.

But, your phone is not just a microphone, it also records your face and will create music videos that will appear on your mobile device and TV. Each music video has the ability to be altered through a series of filters and special effects.ubisoft-2

Though if singing into the face camera of your phone does not seem too appealing, you will also be able to use the PlayStation Camera or Xbox One Kinect.
