Dean O’Gorman may as well be an Australian citizen, let’s be real. The NZ born actor who is currently making The Hobbit fans’ hearts melt alongside Aidan Turner as ‘Fili’ has had a long-running connection with us over the pond, having starred in McLeod’s Daughters back in the day, which saw him stationed just outside of Adelaide for much of the filming process. In more recent times however, O’Gorman’s been lapping up the love at Australian pop culture conventions, visiting quite regularly for Supanova and Oz Comic-Con. Only in the country earlier this year for the Adelaide and Perth legs of Oz Comic-Con’s 2014 tour, O’Gorman has been announced to be coming back around for the Melbourne stop next weekend.
