The Flash loses its director

The upcoming Flash film is now sans a director, with Seth Grahame-Smith leaving the project citing “creative differences”.

Starring Ezra Miller as The Scarlet Speedster, The Flash will enter the DC cinematic universe, and will no doubt wind up as a member of The Justice League. The Flash is scheduled for a March 2018 release date so there is still plenty of time to get the ball rolling again.

Although Grahame-Smith has departed, the film will still work off his script, which he reworked from one written by The Lego Movie’s Chris Lord & Phil Miller.

With Batman Vs Superman’s woeful critical reaction and recent rumours of James Wans’s trepidation as director of Aquaman, DC and Warner Bros appear to be having a rough time. Here’s hoping they can pull it all together.
