SXSW: La La Land Oscar Winner, John Wick VR and more to feature at the Lionsgate Lounge

The annual SXSW Film, Interactive and Music festival kicks off in Austin, Texas this Friday, and with it are a pile of must-attend once-in-a-lifetime events. The US film studio Lionsgate will be putting on one of these events in the form of the Lionsgate Lounge, which will be operating in Austin from the 11th to the 13th of March, and incorporate events that fit into the Film & Interactive streams of the festival. 

Featured amongst in the run of events and festivities at the lounge will be an evening with La La Land Academy Award winning composer Justin Hurwitz; a premiere of Film Hawk; a panel with American Gods show creators Bryan Fuller and Michael Green, cast Ian McShane, Ricky Whittle, Pablo Schreiber and Emily Browning; a VR demo of John Wick Chronicles; you’ll get to check out suits and enter a game competition from Saban’s Power Rangers; and much, much more.

Saturday, March 11 through Monday, March 13, 10am-12pm CT – BeFit’s “Detox/Retox”  

Featuring yoga with BeFit trainer Sydney Benner from 10-10:45am and a “Burn to the Beat” dance workout with BeFit trainer Keaira LaShae from 11-11:45am. Protein Shakes and Bloody Marys will be available to help attendees recover from their workout…or the night before!
