Shocker shows up on set of Spider-Man: Homecoming

A leaked call sheet that was originally posted on Reddit got comic fans talking recently, as it appeared to show that Fargo star Bokim Woodbine would be playing Herman Shultz aka Shocker in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Although it hasn’t been officially confirmed, we can pretty much assure you that Shocker will appear in the new film, thanks to some leaked photos from the set.

Shocker, who debuted in The Amazing Spider-Man comic run in 1967, wears a pair of gauntlets that allows him to blast powerful shocks of compressed air at his foes. These contraptions, dubbed “vibro-smashers” helped him break out of prison.

The photos popped up on Instagram and in news that will no doubt please comic fans worldwide, he looks very authentic when compared to his literary counter-part and perhaps more importantly, his image from Spider-Man: The Animated Series.

This lends more credence to the proposed plan of a Sinister-Six appearance, especially given that Micheal Keaton will appear as the Vulture in Homecoming.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is scheduled for release on July 7, 2017.
