A new six-part drama series, Glitch, tells the discovery of 6 people who have inexplicably risen from the dead in perfect health. Although without any memory of their identities, it’s not long before the links to why they have risen start to show.

Written and produced by the team from Matchbox Pictures (The Slap, Old School, Nowhere Boys, Devil’s Playground), Glitch explores love, loss and what it means to be human, that will leave you thinking long after the credits have rolled.

Featuring an impressive cast led by Australia’s new leading-man Patrick Brammall (Upper Middle Bogan, Offspring), other cast include: Emma Booth, Emily Barclay, Rodger Corser, Genevieve O’Reilly, Andrew McFarlane, Daniela Farinacci, Sean Keenan and Ned Dennehy.

“How do ordinary people deal with great love, longing and the utterly unexpected? This is an exciting drama from a hugely talented creative team.” says ABC Head of Fiction Carole Sklan.

Matchbox Pictures Executive Producer Tony Ayres says “Matchbox is privileged to be working with the ABC on their first adult paranormal drama. Glitch is a wild ride of a show which aims to intrigue, excite and move its audience.”

Filming has commenced, on location in Melbourne and around Victoria, and will air on ABC in 2015.
