Netflix set to release Lady Gaga documentary later this year

Lady Gaga is a worldwide phenomenon, with her catchy music, over the top style and wacky personality proving to be an interesting idea for a documentary.

Netflix has announced they will release Lady Gaga’s documentary aptly named Gaga: Five Foot Two, which will focus in on a year in the life of music superstar Lady Gaga. Emmy nominated filmmaker Chris Moukarbel (Banksy Does New York), will hone in on the woman behind the performer in a series of personal highlights and stories, taking a step back from a life on stage. From relationship struggles to health issues, Gaga: Five Foot Two is sure to be a look behind the curtain known as Lady Gaga.

Lisa Nishimura, VP of Original Documentaries for Netflix stated:“It is a rare moment when one is invited behind the curtain to witness the raw truth of an individual, even more so when that person happens to be one of the most recognizable, influential and scrutinized public figures in culture today.”

Gaga: Five Foot Two is slated to release 22nd September 2017, exclusively on Netflix.
