Marvel removes Inhumans film from line-up

Over the weekend, Disney and Marvel have officially removed Inhumans from its slate of future MCU films.

There was no announcement, nor a new date added.

Inhumans was originally penciled in for a November 2, 2018 date before being delayed until July 12, 2019, with Captain Marvel taking its original spot.

Many are speculating that the acquisition of Spider-Man and its insertion into the slate may have affected the decision.

A personal theory is that Agents of Shield, Marvel’s television series, may have beaten the MCU to the punch. The series is currently in a long running arc involving with the Inhumans. The MCU version likely would have been very different, but it’s definitely a valid concern.

Stay tuned for further word as to whether the Inhumans will move forward or not.
