Iron Man set to join Spider-Man: Homecoming

From the sounds of it, Iron Man is set to appear Sony’s upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Variety is reporting that following the his appearance alongside Tom Holland in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War, Robert Downey Jr.‘s Tony Stark will be appearing in the next Spider-Man movie.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is set to be directed by Jon Watts, with the film set to focus on the superpowered exploits of a teenage Peter Parker.

Downey recently spoke about the possibility of appearing in Spider-Man: Homecoming on Jimmy Kimmel. Watch it below:

Spider-Man: Homecoming is set for US release on July 7 2017.
