Full Force of Destiny screening schedule unveiled; watch exclusive behind the scenes featurette!

 

 

Paul Cox‘s new film Force of Destiny made its Australian premiere at the Melbourne International Film Festival this week (a sold out event), officially opening the festival for 2015, well establishing itself as a certain  highlight of the diverse and entertaining film roster. Starring David Wenham and Shahana GoswamiForce of Destiny details the course of the relationship of Wenham’s character (a renowned sculptor dealing with liver cancer) and Goswami’s Indian marine biologist, who comes from a completely different culture and world.

Melbourne International Film Festival-goers will have the opportunity to attend of a special Force of Destiny ‘In Conversation’ session between Paul Cox and David Stratton at the Wheeler Centre on August 15th – tickets can be purchased through the festival website.

Screening details have also been announced for select cinemas around the country through into November but in the meantime,  watch this special behind the scenes feature that delves into the story of Robert (Wenham) and Maya (Goswami).

Force of Destiny can be seen at various cinemas throughout Australia until November 10th, where it’s final screening on its current schedule takes place in Adelaide. Along with the screenings of the film, audiences will be able to take part in exclusive Q&A sessions with not only Cox, but other members of the Force of Destiny crew including Terry Norris, Maggie MilesMark Patterson,  Julia Blake and Don Kovnitz, while the film’s CinéFestOz screening later in August will feature a special film introduction by lead actor David Wenham.
