Fringe‘s Anna Torv set to chat with some serial killers in David Fincher’s Netflix Drama Mindhunter

As per The Hollywood Reporter, Fringe star Anna Torv has signed on to David Fincher’s upcoming Netflix drama Mindhunter.

In typical Fincher fashion, details surrounding the series remain somewhat vague. However, we do know, the series is based on John Douglas and Mark Olshanker’s 1996 book Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit and revolves around a pair of FBI agents, who, in 1979, interview serial killers in an effort to solve current cases. Tory will play a psychologist, Wendy, alongside, Johnathon Groff as special agent Holden.

Originally developed for HBO, Mindhunter will now join House of Cards, Fincher’s previous Netflix offering and the jewel in the streaming service’s crown.

The Road’s Joe Penhall will put pen to paper while Fincher will direct, as well as executive produce in conjunction with Charlize Theron’s under her production company Denver and Delilah.
