Embrace Director Taryn Brumfitt to hold Q&A sessions at Palace cinemas

“Don’t waste a single day of your life being at war with your body, just embrace it.”

Taryn Brumfitt, founder of the Body Image Movement and all round body image crusader, is due to release her documentary Embrace on August 4.

Ahead of this, she’ll be appearing at Palace cinemas in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to answer fans’ questions about the processes she undertook to make the film.

The film sees Taryn interview several high profile women on the topic of body image, including Mia Freedman and Ricki Lake. The journey started with an inverted before an after shot that she posted on Facebook. It went viral and sparked international media attention.

Embrace marks the next step in her quest to find answers to why women believe they have to look a certain way.
