The iconic Palace Foreshore returns to Melbourne’s stunning Port Phillip Bay from February 27th, boasting a massive line up of acts from around the globe. The 2025 event will run for three weeks, giving fans one last party to see out the summer with a huge celebration of live music.
Running until March 14th, the outdoor venue will host a curated lineup of international and local artists from a wide range of musical genres, including British indie giants The Kooks, electronic pop duo Maribou State, American rapper Denzel Curry, pop duo Magdalena Bay, Irish post-punks Fontaines D.C, DJ Honey Dijon, and New Zealand rockers Six60.
As well as hosting these incredible artists, Palace Foreshore will also run one-day festivals and special performances, transforming the storied St Kilda Triangle, between the Palais Theatre and St Kilda Sea Baths into the ultimate haven for music lovers, all set against the stunning backdrop of a Port Phillip Bay sunset.
Music fans will also be able to take advantage of fully stocked bars and a rotating selection of food trucks in the Street Eats precinct.
Curator/producer Jay Rayner said:
“We’ve been lucky to convince some of the world’s hottest bands right now to fly in and play their headline shows with us. Really, St Kilda does a lot of the work for us. We just send them photos of sunsets, crowds and the epic venue location and they’re super keen to come out.”
All of this comes on the back of the announcement that Palace Foreshore is set to become an annual event, returning in 2026 and continuing to build St Kilda as a major hub for live music.
