Dan Trachtenberg to direct an episode of Black Mirror

In September, Netflix announced that they were going to continue UK Sci-Fi series Black Mirror and film a third season and Dan Trachtenberg, who directed 10 Cloverfield Lane, has been attached to direct an episode.

Black Mirror has received a heap of praise in its role as spiritual successor to Twilight Zone. Each episode involves different settings and characters and presents a future where social advancements and new inventions spark what if? stories.

The series is filled with twists, which is something that Trachtenberg should no doubt revel in given the mysterious nature of his most recent film.

Joe Wright and Jakob Verbruggen have also been named as directors.

Season 3 of Black Mirror will launch on Netflix in 2016.
