Create NSW announce new opportunity for emerging producers living in New South Wales

Create NSW acts at the New South Wales Government’s arts and culture policy and development body. Investing in screen, culture and arts advancements, ideas and projects, Create NSW have announced they are offering a chance to join the cause, proposing a position for an Emerging Producer Placement.

They are specifically on the lookout for emerging producers living in New South Wales from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, who have been the producer of at least one short film or web series in order to apply for the opportunity.

The Create NSW Emerging Producer Placement will reward two applicants with customised six-month paid internships in industry. Customised to suit the successful applicants’ skillsets and creativity, they will have the chance to work with to NSW production companies and attend key industry events, all included in the internship.

All applications will be assessed by a panel of Create NSW staff, and short-listed applicants will be interviewed before the recipients are officially announced. The placements will begin mid October 2017.
