There aren’t a lot of films that could knock a Marvel flick off off their perch and in such a timely manner no less. But in only it’s third week since opening, Age of Ultron has been relegated to second spot as the sequel to 2012’s comedy smash Pitch Perfect 2 takes home an impressive $9.4 million in its opening week.
Earth’s mightiest heroes are no slouch though, making $3.4 million while surprise horror hit Unfriended digs its feet in at number 3 – albeit taking a massive dip figure wise earning just over half a million.
Furious 7 is still hanging around unsurprisingly, sitting in at number 4 with a solid $510,891 while rounding out the top 5 is Kurt Cobain documentary Montage of Heck, making over $200,000.

The film has already received rave reviews and pending commercial success, Miller has stated his intent on making a 5th and 6th film.
