And to help launch the film, one of the stars of the film, Amy Poehler, will walk the “bright, multi-coloured” carpet at the Event Cinemas on George Street along with Director Pete Docter and Producer Jonas Rivera. The visit will be Poehler’s first to Australia. Special guests and local personalities will also walk the carpet at the premiere, which will kick off from 6pm on Monday.
In the film, Poehler plays Joy, one of the five “emotions” inside 11-year-old Riley’s mind, whose sole mission is to ensure Riley stays happy.
