A new open air cinema arrives in Brunswick just in time for Summer

Brunswick’s beloved Barkly Square is set to launch its newest attraction in the form of an Open Air Cinema after an impressive inaugural year. Beginning Saturday 2 December, you can join in on the fun and for a good cause, with the proceeds being donated to across 7 local charities.

Beginning with a screening of the hit French film Amelie, viewers will get the chance to unwind in the open air and enjoy seasonal (and all year round) classics in the heart of Brunswick’s Sydney road. Viewers will also get the chance to try local and exclusive snacks from Barkley Square food retailers, as they undergo extended trading hours for the duration of the event.

For just $10, you can catch weekly sessions of your favourite films such as Amelie, The Big Lebowski, Dirty Dancing and seasonal classics such as Elf and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

The Barkly Square Open Air Cinema will commence on Saturday 2 December and run right through until 27 January, 2018. For ticket purchases, session times and general information, you can visit barklysquare.com.au.
