Something supernatural this way comes in first trailer for Kenneth Branagh’s A Haunting in Venice

Fresh from its first-look premiere for attendees at this year’s CinemaCon Convention in Las Vegas, 20th Century Studios have released the unsettling teaser for A Haunting in Venice – the latest mystery from Kenneth Branagh, reprising his role as the famed detective Hercule Poirot, following both Murder on the Orient Express and last year’s Death on the Nile.

Set in eerie, post-World War II Venice on All Hallows Eve, A Haunting in Venice is a terrifying mystery featuring the return of the celebrated sleuth, Hercule Poirot. Now retired and living in self-imposed exile in the worlds most glamorous city, Poirot reluctantly attends a séance at a decaying, haunted palazzo. When one of the guests is murdered, the detective is thrust into a sinister world of shadows and secrets.

In tradition with his other mysteries, A Haunting in Venice features an all-star cast of potential victims and suspects, including Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Dornan, Jude Hill, Kelly Reilly, and Tina Fey.

A Haunting in Venice is expected in Australian cinemas from September 14th, 2023.
